Fitistan-Ek Fit Bharat in collaboration with Eastern Command and Trishakti Corps of Indian Army is organising Sikkim Soldierathon a hill marathon event to honour sacrifice, valour and heroism of our soldiers on Oct 27th Sunday at Paljor Stadium ,Gangtok.This event is not just a test of physical endurance but a celebration of the human spirit's resilience and determination.

A- Half Marathon/21.0975 Km - 18 yrs and above 

B- 10 Kms (Timed Run) - 14 years and above

C- 5 Kms (Non Timed Fun Run) - 10 years and above

This marathon will be first of its kind in Gangtok, capital city of India’s Pride & extraordinarily beautiful state of Sikkim. The runners will experience a very rare & lifetime opportunity to run with soldiers,veterans & who’s who of Sikkim. This event is not just a test of physical endurance but a celebration of the Never Say Die spirit , resilience, bravery, courage, determination and Above All, character of our soldiers.

Our vision is to make Sikkim a must visit place for sports tourism. Through this meaningful Marathon, we want to attract the top runners from the country to come here every year and put Sikkim on the national map as one of the most iconic places to visit for sports tourism . Not only will this build the Sikkim economy but also spread awareness about Sikkim’s culture,civilisation and customs of Sikkimese people. Such mega event will surely inspire young school/college students to be part of sports & Fit India Movement. 

This event will also emphasise on - “No to Drugs- Yes to Sports” campaign in Sikkim started by The Lions Club Of Gangtok Greens
