The Amarnath Yatra is a revered Hindu pilgrimage in the Kashmir Himalayas, India. Lasting around 45 days, it entails trekking to the sacred Amarnath Cave, housing a naturally formed ice lingam, symbolizing Lord Shiva. Day 01 : Srinagar
On the arrival day of the Srinagar airport/Bus stand, our representative will receive you. After check in to the hotel, you can spent the day leasurely on your own
Day 02 :On To Baltal || Srinagar – Sonmarg
The devotees start the Amarnath Yatra from Srinagar. From Srinagar traveling to Sonmarg/Baltal by road after having morning breakfast. Sonmarg is one of the most picturesque locations in Jammu and Kashmir, and the drive from Srinagar to this hill station is indeed a beautiful journey. As you arrive, you will be checking in at the pre-booked hotel/Deluxe tents for an overnight stay.
Day 03 :On To Amarnath Cave || Baltal – Amarnath Cave– Sonmarg
On the 3rd day of your tour, you will be transferred to the Amarnath Cave shrine (10 km) after a delicious breakfast. From Baltal, you would be heading on a 6-hour approx. Walk to the Amarnath cave. You can take a Pony, Pithoos, or Palki to cover this distance. Post your Darshan at Holy cave, and overnight stay at your base camp at Amarnath. (15 Km from Baltal).
Day 04 :On To Sonmarg|| Baltal – Sonmarg – Srinagar..
Toady we will be starting early morning from Amarnath to Baltal/Sonmarg, you would be transferred to Srinagar. You will be transferred to a hotel as you reach. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 05 : Return Home with Happy Memories
As you finish your breakfast, head to Srinagar Airport/Bust stand for your onward journey back home. Thus, the Amarnath Yatra tour ends here

FAQ
1. Why the joining point is Srinagar why not anywhere in Kerala or South India?
A. As people are joining from different part of India its difficult to manage them. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.
2. Will I get any companions to travel from my city?
A. Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of traveller who is in for this trip.
3. Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?
A. No. During the stay at each place you can keep the bag in your room. During Kedarnath trek, you can keep a minimal luggage with you for one night stay.
4. Do I need to carry any blankets?
A. No. Hotels will provide pillows, blankets, and other necessities for the stay
5. Can I take my kid along with me on this trip?
A. This trip include long road journeys and treks. If your child's age and health allow this, you can bring him/her but please maintain the group schedules
6. This trip included trekking?
A. Yes
7. After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?
A. It's strictly as per cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration
8. When should I reach Srinagar on Day 1?
A. Please reach before 4PM
11. When should I book my return ticket on Day 05?
A. As the trip ends on Day 04, you can book your return ticket preferably next day morning.

Know before you go!
1. Any changes/Cancellation/Reschedule of flights are not liabilities of Appooppanthaadi.
2. If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. We will not be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
3. Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
4. Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
5. Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.
6. If due to natural calamity or road blocks if we are unable to reach the booked hotel as per itinerary, we will be booking the most convenient option and this will cost extra to the travellers
Cancellation policy

1. For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
2. For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
3. For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
4. For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
5. No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
